Overview
Montpellier Freetour is a visit to the historic centre of Montpellier, the Ecusson.
Welcome to Montpellier, a magnificent Mediterranean city in the south of France. Come visit this ancient city, lose yourself in the narrow streets, stroll through its charming shops, and enjoy a delicious French meal on one of the many terraces that decorate the city. With 300 days of sunshine a year, Montpellier is one of the most pleasant cities in the south of France, and you can also stroll along the beach just a few kilometers from the city. Join us on a 2-hour walk through the historic center where we will relive the history that has made Montpellier a modern, cosmopolitan, young, and dynamic city. Includes: - Place de la Comedie - Place Jean Jaures - Saint-Roch district - Saint-Anne Church - Arc de Triomphe - Peyrou Garden - Peyrou Aqueduct - Botanical Garden - University of Medicine. Join us for a discovery tour of Montpellier at 10:00 a.m. at Place de la Comedie.

On arrival
The "fontaine des trois Grâces" is the most popular meeting spot in town.
This is situated on the "Place de la Comédie" who is the central place of Montpellier.
To go here you can use the tram 1(blue one) or 2 (plaint with flowers) and stop at "place de la comédie".
From the train station, you just have to walk 3mn to be here. Take the Magelone street.
