Overview of the tour in Mumbai

Matheran is a famous hill station located near Mumbai, Maharashtra. The destination takes pride in its breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Western Ghats. This no-vehicle zone also attracts adventure seekers and nature lovers while boasting numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, and viewpoints.

The beautiful quiet forest, the red sand, the chirping of birds and the sights of langurs, the toy train, the local cuisine and handicrafts, lovely treks through the forest, the panoramic views and the fresh pollution-free air, away from the hustle and bustle and chaos of the city makes Matheran a must visit place to recharge yourself in a natural way.

The trip includes
1. Early morning local train to Neral from CST.
2. Toy train from Neral to Matheran.
3. 2-night stay in a 3-star hotel in Matheran with all vegetarian meals. ( Bf/ lunch/ dinner)
4. Sightseeing and one session of horse riding.
5. Visit the local Matheran Bazar to enjoy shopping, fun games, and local cuisine.
6. Return by Car from Matheran to CST.
7. All entry fees inside Matheran.

Exclusions.
1. Any personal shopping, adventure rides or activities, and food other than what is provided will be on your own.

On arrival

1. We will travel by early morning local train from CST to Neral.
2. From Neral, we will catch a toy train to Matheran ( or from Aman Lodge station), depending on availability.

Things to note

1. Please wear sports shoes as the Matheran trek is through dusty and Rocky forest areas.
2. There might be a Network issue sometimes.
