Overview of the tour in Munich
On a 2:15 hour city walk, we discover hidden and unconventional places in Munich.
We experience how the new Volkstheater in the vibrant Schlachthof district combines past and present and immerse ourselves in the lively and colorful world of Bahnwärter Thiel - this dynamic event and cultural space is created from over 40 graffiti-decorated shipping containers.
We also follow the fascinating transformation of a discarded excursion boat into one of Munich's cultural highlights - the "Alte Utting". It's not just the sunset and the newspaper article in the New York Times that impress here, but above all the story of how this crazy project came about.
The tour ends at "Gans Woanders", one of Munich's most unusual beer gardens, whose pizza and rosemary fries I can highly recommend.

On arrival
I'm waiting for you on Zenetti-Platz, near the turquoise-green street furniture (Piazza Zenetti) (corner of Tumblinger Straße and Zenetti-Straße). I am easily recognizable by my colourful rucksack. How to get there: It's best to get off at the subway station U3/6 Goetheplatz and walk 10 minutes to Zenettiplatz.
