Overview
In 1935 Adolf Hitler names Munich "Hauptstadt der Bewegung" (capital of the movement). He named it this way because the Nazi party or NSDAP was born in this city. From that moment the streets and squares of the Bavarian capital were the preferred setting for rallies and parades of the Hitler regime.
On this tour, we will learn about the beginnings of this match and we will talk about the attempted coup. We will explain in detail how the Nazis came to power, while we tour the old neighborhood where most of the Reich offices were located. Many of those buildings still stand today.
Get to know with Explore Munich, the places where the high officials of the party and Hitler himself worked, sowing terror throughout the country and around the world.
You will know:
-The liberation of Munich
-The Night of the Broken Glass
-Biography of Hitler
-The coup of 1923
-Viscardigasse
- Parades and heroes of honor
-Night of the Long Knives
-Munich Pact
and much more...
