A unique adventure into the highest mountain in Oman. A day tour intended for solo or a couple of travelers. Jabal Shams is Located at the heart of the mountain range of the Aldakheliya region and about 150 km from Muscat.
Departure will be from Muscat at around 7 a.m. With stops along the way at some nice tourist spots and for short rests, meals, and coffee. Feel free to bring any food if you would like, and ask for stops whenever something catches your attention. We should be back in Muscat at around 6 p.m.

I use a 4*4 pickup truck for the mountain trip. But we will be driving a sedan from Muscat to Nizwa.
