Nairobi City Stroll & National Museum Experience
Overview of the tour in Nairobi
Discover the vibrant heartbeat of Nairobi on a full-day (optional)city walk through its cultural and historical landmarks. Our tour begins at Uhuru Park, a symbol of Kenya's independence, offering panoramic views of the city skyline. From here, we head to the Nairobi Gallery, where art and history intertwine, before walking past the Kenyan Parliament and the iconic KICC (Kenyatta International Conference Centre), a standout of Nairobi's skyline.
Continuing through the bustling streets, we’ll stop by the War Memorial Monument, honoring and discussing African myths of East African soldiers from world wars. We then admire the architectural gem and history behind Macmillan Library. Our next stop is the vibrant City Market, where you can browse for authentic Kenyan crafts, artifacts, and souvenirs. From here, we’ll stroll to the historic Norfolk Hotel, where Queen Elizabeth was crowned, a cultural center to soak in traditional Kenyan art and culture.
We’ll break for a 1-hour lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Kenyan cuisine.
Afterward, we head to the National Museum, where you can learn about Kenya's rich natural, cultural, and prehistoric heritage.
