Overview of the tour in Negombo
You will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo and transferred to Kelaniya rajamaha vihara temple. The Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara or Kelaniya Temple is a Buddhist temple in Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, seven miles from Colombo.
Then proceed to visit the Colombo Museum and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference hall, you’ll also pass the parliament, the university, and the independence square. Next visit Gangarama temple The temple’s architecture demonstrates an eclectic mix of Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian, and Chinese architecture. This Buddhist temple includes several imposing buildings and is situated not far from the placid waters of Beira Lake on a plot of land that was originally a small hermitage on a piece of marshy land.
After that visit the famous Red Mosque, which is a revered place for Colombo’s Muslim community. Our final stop will be The Galle Face Green is where locals come to relax after a busy day, and we’re likely to see families and couples playing, flying kites, or just enjoying the cool evening breeze & and walk around the Galle fade green. Once the tour ends, be dropped back to your hotel in Colombo.
