He didn't explain too much and mainly it was difficult to find him, because he didn't have any identification, either an umbrella or something similar

“Unique Experience! ”
Wonderful educational experience with a thoughtful guide whose passion is helping the community of the largest slum in Delhi. A must see for a side of Delhi you can’t get on your own. Very worth a large tip. The children we met were fantastic.

“Great tour for an introduction to Delhi and the culture ”
I had a very nice tour with Archana who showed me the best sights in and around Old Delhi while also providing a lot of information and context about different cultural aspects of the city. She was very friendly and enthusiastic and I definitely recommend anyone visiting the city for the first time and wanting an introduction to do this tour with her! Thank you!

“Delhi walking tour”
From our experience doing free walking tours around the world, this was a very basic example. The tour is good because: The guide took us to 3 or 4 temples that would have been difficult to navigate without the tour and they explained the different religions of India. Other than that- probably not a tour worth doing? Most of the information was Wikipedia-style rather than any actual local insight. We didn’t really get a feel for any neighbourhoods we walked through and the tour guide was very shy, so we had to ask a lot of questions for any further info- few of which were answered. Some temples are also closed in the afternoon so we couldn’t go in- be aware of that if the tour starts at 2pm. Be aware that you have to take your shoes and socks off with almost every stop- which wasn’t an issue for us but was for others. The guide did try their best to answer our questions but clearly did not know a great deal (about the buildings themselves or other religions) so provided very little additional context or information beyond the classic “script”. We had asked for some information or recommendations on places to eat - this wasn’t provided- perhaps we should have pushed harder? We also struggled to find the guide at the start- perhaps an umbrella or something distinctive would help given we’ were meeting in such a busy area? I would also recommend cutting the bird hospital out of the itinerary.

“Excellent tour, very cultural and profound”
Archana is an excellent guide, knowledgeable, kind and caring. She took me to several temples of different religions explaining the characteristics of each group. She also took me to walk through a huge old Delhi market, explaining what stores were on each street and accompanied me to buy Indian bracelets. All the time she gave very knowledgeable explanations about the places we visited. I highly recommend her

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
We did free tour guided by Manoj and we liked it very much. He explained to us the different religions that coexist in India with their characteristics, we visited several temples, the Chandni Chowk market, the mosque, as well as very kindly answered all the questions and curiosities about his life in India and his customs. He exceeded the time stipulated for the visit and was really kind and welcoming. We would definitely recommend him. Pd: two people left the free tour without telling the guide and of course without giving him the deserved financial reward. He was worried because he thought they were lost in the crowd. An example of how not to act. it was a pleasure to meet you Manoj !!!! :)
