“Not just a walk”

Michael gave us ample information about the monuments and architecture of Odesa’s city centre, but was also able to answer all kinds of questions concerning the local economy, society and politics. He did so in a very open and ironic manner.

“So many insights!”

I thoroughly enjoyed my individual tour with Michael. His English was perfect and he took almost three hours to show me around. He was very knowledgeable about the architecture and historical context, but also willing to stray from those things now and then to give me a glimpse into Odessa life. Just one thing to note: I booked through credit card, but only a small service charge was deducted from the card; they expect their payment in cash (Euro), so it‘s helpful to have the adequate banknotes at hand. I guess they could point that out more clearly during the booking process. In any case it is a great bargain!

“Great tour, beautiful city!”

Michael was a great tour guide. He answered all of our questions about Odessa (+ Ukraine) honestly and well. He took us to many great places in the city and we managed to get a lot of great photos because of the tour. The tour was well worth the money.

“Extremely pleasant walk in Odessa”

Anna was a great and entertaining guide. We had a long walk around the city center, where we found out more about the history of Odessa, its legends and people. We saw some of the more touristic places, as well as some of the hidden gems, known mostly by its local people. Thank you, Ana for a lovely afternoon!
