Overview
Day 01: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
Join our exciting two-day excursion with an unforgettable night in the golden dunes! We leave at 8:00 from your hotel to Erfoud. First, we will visit the Kasbah of Amerhidil in the fascinating palm grove of Skoura.
We then continue to Kelaa Mgouna, just 40km away, where the colors change to a mix of greens, gardens, and pinks. We continue towards Tinghir through the Dades Valley and head to the Todra Gorges for lunch at a restaurant in the heart of the 300 m high canyons. For those interested in hiking, a one-hour walk into the valley is possible.
In the afternoon, we leave for Erfoud, passing through Tinjedad with its old underground irrigation system. We will discover the fossils and the places where they are extracted before reaching the dunes of Merzouga in Erg Chibbi. Dinner and night in a Berber camp.
Day 02: Merzouga – Rissani – Tazarine – Agdez – Ouarzazate
We woke up early to watch the sunrise in the desert and then returned to Ouarzazate.
