Overview of the tour in Panama City
After pick up directly from your hotel we head out to the lush Soberania National park. Here we jump on a boat and head up the infamous Panama Canal. Make sure you bring your camera to capture the amazing wildife, including white faced Capuchin monkeys, Jeffreys Tamarins and howlers! You also have a chance to see the hundreds of bird species Panama is known for such as the toucan, Snail kite and black bellied whistling duck! After a tranquil drive around the islands you will drive up an estruary of the Panama canal to a small community of people who have lived off the banks of the Chagres for decades. Here you will learn about the customs and way lof life of the Wounaan people. How they build their houses, and what they live off. After a chat we will go on a walk through the Soberania National forest, whilst a native will explain what plants you could use for survival in the forest. After being mesmerized by the sheer size of the jungle, the indigenous will show you their artisanal goods, and if your lucky perform a few of their traditional customs. After the tour we will drop you back off at your hotel!
