Overview of the tour in Paris
With Paris, literature comes to mind. The eternal muse of writers and intellectuals, it is not difficult to meet an author or two in a café in Saint-Germain, such as the beautiful Les Deux Magots. First we will discover the intellectual air of the Left Bank and continue in a passage through the Latin Quarter, looking for the essence of its most literary places. We will remember Cortázar, who loved to walk there, stopping to look at the stalls of the bouquinistes (the used book sellers). Do you know the common ground that unites Camus, Deleuze and Bergson?
It will be unforgettable to know some of the streets and cafes where several writers passed through: Descartes, Hemingway, Paul Verlaine, Thomas Paine, Jean-Paul Sartre or Simone de Beauvoir. You will be able to read a passage of their work in each of these places That will remind you of the lyrics of Edith Piaf and the hands of Django Reinhardt
We will also see important monuments such as the Pantheon, the Sorbonne and the Church of Saint-Germain des Près and finish in the mythical Montparnasse district. At the end we will leave you a guide to continue visiting, for example the tomb of Oscar Wilde.
This activity includes:
- Les Deux Magots
- Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois
- Quai Ouest
- Mazarine Biblioteca
- Cortázar
