Overview
Paris is known as "the City of Light" for being the first city to provide its streets and buildings with street lighting. Join us on this tour of Paris by Night and discover the beauty of the capital when its monuments are illuminated at dusk.
Our walking tour starts at the Opéra Garnier and we will see some of the main monuments and places of Paris with the most beautiful illuminations of the city, such as the Madeleine, an impressive church whose architecture will remind us of the Roman temples, or the Place de la Concorde, a key place during the revolutionary period and presided over by its emblematic obelisk.
We will walk along the Champs Elysees, a triumphal promenade, scene of important historical events, we will also see the monumental setting of the Grand Palais de Paris, the Petit Palais, the Pont Alexandre III and the National Palace of Les Invalides, where the remains of Napoleon are located.
The tour ends at the beautiful Pont de l'Alma, which crosses the Seine River, built in the mid-nineteenth century and designed by Hyacinthe Gariel for the famous Expo of 1900.
