Overview of the tour in Paris

Stroll through the same streets where Van Gogh, Renoir, Picasso and Toulouse-Lautrec lived and sought inspiration with this free tour that will take you through one of the most attractive and bohemian neighborhoods of Paris. Our English speaking guide will show us the most interesting places and lesser known corners of "The Painters' Quarter".

Our tour begins near the Moulin Rouge, one of the most popular cabarets in the city. We will visit the Cafe de Deux Moulins and also contemplate the Van Gogh House. We will discover the relationship between the Moulin de la Galette and Napoleon Bonaparte, and we will talk about Le Jardin Sauvage, the last vineyard on the hill.

We will visit the oldest cabaret in Paris, the Lapin Agile, and we will head towards the imposing Place Saint-Pierre, which was used as a backdrop for many films. Here stands the renowned Sacré-Coeur Basilica, one of the most emblematic monuments of Paris, a place that offers a breathtaking view of the city from the top of the mountain to finish our walk in an unbeatable setting.

Meeting point: At the central island of the Pigalle metro exit, in front of McDonald's (Nearby metro lines 2 and 12). Look for a blue-green flag with the company logo: Strolling through Europe.

Attention
At the meeting point you might see other tour companies. Please do not get the wrong guide. Please ask for the company Paseando por Europa to make sure, they carry blue-green flags.

End point: Sacré-Cœur Basilica.

• Our guides will be identified with teal flags with the company logo: Paseando Por Europa.

• Please arrive 15 minutes in advance because the tour will depart on time.

• Show the guide, at the meeting point, and the reservation confirmation email either in print or by mobile phone or tablet.

• For groups of more than 6 adults, the price will be €8 per person, which must be paid to the guide at the meeting point.
