Overview of the tour in Pisa

We will meet in Piazza XX Settembre, in front of the town hall, where we will admire the Lungarni that were sung by famous writers who have passed through Pisa: the poet Giacomo Leopardi wrote that "it is a sight to fall in love with".

There we will admire the famous Lungarni, the streets around the river that have a very characteristic atmosphere. Along with its emblematic buildings we will learn the stories and curiosities of some of the protagonists of Pisa. From these streets we will see in the distance the Cittadella Vecchia and the church of Santa Maria della Spina, a masterpiece of Gothic art. Next, we will enter the old town, passing through Borgo Stretto, a perfect street for strolling and shopping, arriving at Piazza delle Vettovaglie. We will also see the Palazzo della Sapienza, one of the oldest universities in Italy.

We will continue to discover the Piazza dei Cavalieri, symbol of the Renaissance in Pisa, we will approach the Romanesque church of San Sisto, a saint very dear to the Pisans and finally we will reach the essential Piazza dei Miracoli to discover its miracles of architecture.
