Paracas Desert Full Day Cycling Tour
Overview of the tour in Pisco
The bike tour starts from Pisco-Paracas. At 8am the adventure begins pedaling and scorted by the 4x4 support vehicle going southward across the Paracas National Reserve. The bike ride moves along the coast and across a moon like territory alternating views of the sea and the desert with amazing sections including climbs, descents, hills and dunes down to Laguna Grande fishermen village. Here we have a rest stop and opportunity to pick up supplies if needed. We recommended having a delicious fish and seafood lunch in the local family restaurant.
On this tour we will visit and explore a number of sites, beaches: Lagunillas, Yumaque, Supay, Las Salinas, Playon, Mendieta, etc. Superb scenic beauty of rocky formations, mountains and sand dunes. Wildlife observations are possible too: flamingos, sea lions, otters, sea birds and with some luck condors flying down from the Andes heights in search of food near the ocean. At Laguna Grande we will live a cultural immersion experience by learning about the real life of the people living here from the sea in an ancient settlement occupied by generations.
In the afternoon return trip to Paracas where the tour ends in your hotel.
