The historic center of Pontevedra, known as "O Burgo", is an architectural treasure that captivates visitors with its medieval charm. Located on the banks of the Lérez River, this urban complex has managed to preserve its original layout over the centuries.

Its narrow cobblestone streets invite you to get lost in a labyrinth of history and culture. Among its architectural jewels is the imposing Basilica of Santa María, a Gothic masterpiece from the 16th century.

The Plaza de la Leña, in the heart of the old town, is witness to the daily life of its inhabitants and houses a lively traditional market where you can find local products and handicrafts. Another emblematic spot is the Plaza de la Verdura, where a colorful market of fresh fruits and vegetables is displayed. As you walk through this labyrinth of historic streets, you will discover numerous buildings of heritage value. Its squares, terraces and bars invite you to take a break and enjoy the local gastronomy, where fresh seafood and fish are the protagonists.
