Overview of the tour in Porto
We will start the tour in front of the University of Porto, one of the most important in the world, and visit the famous twin churches, the Igrejas do Carmo.
was Harry Potter really inspired by a heritage symbol of Porto? Come with us to the emblematic Lello e Irmao bookstore, famously associated with the aforementioned character; we will also explain the history of this bookstore reviewing its neo-gothic style and comment curiosities about it.
We will observe the old prison of the city of Oporto, we will know which important Portuguese literary work was written here and we will learn about the writer of the same. We will visit the Clérigos Tower and learn about its clock and bell tower.
From the Victoria Viewpoint, we will have views of the Douro, a bridge influenced by the Eiffel Tower and the city of Gaia. On our visit, we will also discover the origin of the Avenue of the Allies, in front of the Municipal Chamber of Porto, and the 20,000 tiles of the Estaçao de Sao Bento will tell us the history of Portugal.
We will end our tour at the Cathedral of Porto, where we will immerse ourselves in the history of one of the most prominent Gothic jewels of Portugal.

- Our guides will be identified with a blue-green umbrella or flag and the company logo: Paseando Por Europa.
- Show the guide, at the meeting point, the booking confirmation email, either printed or by cell phone or tablet.
- what is a free tour? Free comes from the concept "free", that is, it is an urban tour with qualified guides in which you are free to set the price you want to the tour once it is finished, depending on your satisfaction and budget.
- Group bookings of more than 6 adults have to pay 8 € per adult. The maximum allowed is 3 children per adult.
- If your group is more than 6 adults and you have made several separate reservations under different names, but all for the same group, you will have to pay 8 € per adult. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept you on the tour and the guide may ask you to leave the tour.
