Hiking Tour to El Colomo Waterfall
Overview of the tour in Puerto Vallarta
Our journey will begin in Puerto Vallarta; we will travel northeast by bus to the state of Nayarit and then transfer to a minibus. Then, we will reach the small authentic village of El Colomo and begin our hiking route towards the mountains. We will follow a path through fields and forests, over hills, with amazing flora and fauna and beautiful views. Then, we will climb the waterfall and enjoy fresh water in natural outdoor baths with beautiful views.
Difficulty: medium-hard.
The path itself is not very difficult, but quite long and exhausting, also, to reach the top you will have to climb the wall a little. But it's not very difficult.
A circular route about 10 km long.
Depending on the speed, this will take from 5 to 7 hours. Excluding travel time to El Colomo and back.

On arrival
The bus depot is next to the stadium. It is the final and starting stop for buses going to Nayarit. We will meet there.

What you need to take with you:
1) Comfortable clothes and shoes
2) You will also need a cap or hat
3) Sunscreen and glasses
4) Water minimum 1,5l per person
5) Insect repellent
6) Some extra cash to buy something to eat after the trail
