Overview of the tour in Reykjavik

The highlight of this 10-hour tour is the beautiful and dramatic Black Sand Beach of Reynisfjara. Its grey and black basaltic columns rise high in the sky from the powerful ocean. Stand in respectful admiration in front of the rugged cliffs.

Another impressive site is the Sólheimajökull glacier where you understand the impact of both global warming as well as the power of the surrounding volcanoes. Walk to the snout of the glacier and observe the retreating movement of the ice.

Next up are the gorgeous waterfalls Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss. As you walk at the foot of Skógafoss under a 60-meter drop from top to bottom, beware of the water splashing around and try to stay dry! Seljalandsfoss is a truly unique site and is the only waterfall behind which you can walk from one side through to the other.
