Grove and the Good Olive Oil Tour
Overview
Grove is taken care of with great love and responsibility to nature. Seated in a hilly terrain, surrounded by shrubs and pine trees (burned or spared from the bush fire a year ago in April). Breathing the famous Aegean summer winds. Nurturing fruits in a microclimate of its own. How big are the fruits now? Green or black? When is the time for oil? And then, what do we do with it? The answers are here.
It also includes guided olive oil tasting. You will learn how to taste olive oil, how to recognize its positive and negative attributes, and how to choose one that you like.
After the tour, there is still time before sunset. You can easily enjoy it being here on the West coast. Or continue with a short nature walk.

On arrival
Google map is fine. When in Soroni, turn in at the bakery of Pappou (του ΠΑΠΠΟΥ). Follow the map directions. After 550 meters, you will find the dirt/gravel road. Either park and enjoy the remaining walk of 150 meters. Or continue driving till the farm. No ways to get lost or confused - there is no other gravel, or any other olive farm in this direction of the map. We meet in front of it.
Things to note
In case of bee allergies - please inform ahead. This is very important in the nature. Also, a head cover would be useful. Along with water and comfortable shoes. And one more thing, since we are going to taste olive oil professionally, please do not wear any perfumed substances. Better bring it in your bag for any after ;) thank you.
