“We could not make the visit because the guide was not there”
The guide did not arrive at the meeting point, maybe because it rained but nobody warned us and we were waiting for an hour. I didn't want to give such a low score but it didn't give me the option to leave the comment without scoring

“Sugar Loaf ”
We met at 10 am at the door of the Earth Science Museum. We toured the Urca neighborhood and Randu (the guide) told us about the history and geography of Urca. We walked along the Urca wall towards the former casino. From there we stopped at a bar for 15 minutes and whoever wanted could have a drink or a snack. We waited sitting on the wall until the rest finished. From there we went to the entrance to the road (next to Praia Vermelha) to climb Morro da Urca. It is a 30 minute ascent. I recommend going with comfortable clothes and trekking shoes because the whole tour is 3 hours. Bring water and some snacks. The ascent to Morro da Urca is free of charge. In one part of the trek there is a rope to hold on to so you don't slip. If you have knee problems, think about it before making the ascent. There you can go down to the base or ascend in fonicular to the pan de azucar paying the ticket. If you are a student you can show the university website where you can prove that you are a student and they will give you a discount. I highly recommend the tour. Stay close to the guide to listen to everything he tells you and he is always ready to answer any questions you may have.

“Sugar loaf ”
It was great to be able to walk up the hill to see the sugar loaf! I had not understood that you had to climb so much, it is worth it! At the top there are locals, you can eat and from there take another cable car to the sugar loaf, that's the most interesting part of the walking tour. The only thing we didn't like is that when we arrived we were told a minimum of 50 R per person, which we didn't know and it didn't say it anywhere.
