At the beginning of this tour, accompanied by a guide born and raised in the favelas, we will go to the foot of the Ary Barroso Slope, which we can ascend on foot or using local transportation (motorcycle or van). From there, we will begin to immerse ourselves in the experience of living in the favelas, exploring their local culture, their routines, and their history in this beautiful community where scenes from novels and movies have been filmed.
Afterward, we will walk the Babylon Trail, which offers a large number of incredible views of different parts of the city. In addition, we will find deactivated bunkers and a wide variety of bird and plant species. It is a simple journey, and there are no age restrictions to participate.
Finally, we will have the opportunity to visit Bar do David, a famous pub in Chapéu Mangueira, recognized for its delicious food, exquisite drinks, and numerous awards, having once been chosen as the best pub in Brazil.
