Overview of the tour in Rome
We will start knowing the Margana Square, a hidden gem in the busy city, then we will go to the Tarpeya Rock, place of execution of murderers and traitors. We will walk next to the Theatre of Marcello, ancient Roman theater partially preserved, we will also see the Temple of Apollo and the Portico of Ottavia, archaeological area that leaves us amazed, to reach the Jewish Quarter, in the past the Ghetto, where there is the Square October 16, 1943, the Synagogue, Piazza Giudea
The history of the Jewish community in Rome is more than 2000 years old, often suffering terrible decrees and oppression, in this tour we will have an overview of the oldest Jewish community in Europe. We will reach the Fountain of the Turtles, one of the "secrets of Rome", Campo de Fiori, where we will remember the dark times of the Roman Inquisition.
The Palazzo del Monte di Pietà with its "crazy clock of Rome", Palazzo Farnese, current seat of the French Embassy, and we will learn about the curiosities of how Alessandro Farnese, in 1534, became Pope Paul III, we will walk along the beautiful Via Giulia to reach Ponte Sisto, with enchanting views of the Tiber Island and the Dome of San Pietro.
