Craft Beer Tour in Salamanca
Overview of the tour in Salamanca
Come learn about the history of beer making while enjoying some of Salamanca's and Spain's finest craft beers. Starting at Craft Bar in Plaza del Oeste, a neighborhood famous for its street art, we will have a beer tasting with Salamanca's leading beer guru, Ivan from La Bestia Brewery. While enjoying a flight of his bestial beers, we'll learn about the brewing process and how to create different styles and flavors.
There are tapas available. Next, we'll go to La Cueva del Lúpulo, a bottle shop/bar where we try some unique beers and take some home. There is cheese and artisanal pizza available. Finally, we'll go to the center of town to The Holy Cross, a two-story Irish pub with a vibrant atmosphere located near other night bars. There is food available there too until 11 pm.
As we walk from pub to pub, we'll sing the 1800 B.C. Hymn to Ninkasi, the Sumerian goddess of cerveza. If you're new to the beer world, expect to learn a lot. If you're already an expert, expect to enjoy the best Spanish craft beers in an ideal setting; don't waste time looking for the right place/beer. Join us!

On arrival
From Wednesday to Sunday, we will meet in The Craft Bar. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we will meet in La Cueva del Lúpulo.
