Free Walking Tour: A dive into Salvador’s history & African Culture
Overview of the tour in Salvador
Let's take a stroll through a less touristy neighborhood in the city, the Santo Antônio neighborhood beyond Carmo. We will tell you about the houses and their symbols, their history, churches, the resistance of the enslaved, and much more. We will end at the famous Pelourinho, bringing reflections on the society we live in today.
You will also receive valuable tips on what to do and where to taste local delicacies! More than a tour, we hope to tell the story from a different point of view and help you understand how, through resistance and art, Salvador became such a special place!
