Overview
Departure for a hike to the Zerafchan mountain range to the south of Samarkand, walk to the waterfall, via the village track to the mountain pastures, and then along a steep path.
Beautiful mountain atmosphere and views on both sides of the massif. Take a short break near a spring. Flora lovers will have a great time in this place of medicinal plants. Climb up to the cascade des fées (approx. 3 hours and an additional 300 m ascent).
In this village, you're welcomed by the Khassanov family for a real immersion in the daily life of the locals. Once the introductions have been made, it's time to stretch your legs with a hike in the surrounding area to take in the panorama at the top of the pass, at 1400m altitude.
Enjoy some free time, or go straight to a cooking class with a local, who will introduce you to the preparation of "non" bread, as well as to the preparation of "Uzbek plov," which you will enjoy together for dinner. Return to Samarkand.
