Gastronomy, History, Art and National Library
Overview of the tour in San Salvador
I have been a tour guide for six years, I love the Historic Center of San Salvador, because I grew up, live and work here since I was a teenager.
I have a small bohemian bar, only for friends and tourists.
In my tour we visit churches, squares, markets, restaurants and places to taste a high quality coffee or a national beer.
If you want to know the history and folklore I recommend the morning tour, if you want a tour that includes bars and restaurants I recommend the afternoon or evening tours.
Remember that we have a tropical climate, for your enjoyment bring sunglasses, hat and umbrella. If you book the tour I will send you a message with more information, don't forget to confirm your attendance.
We will visit the Hula Hula Market, El Rosario Church, Plaza Libertad, Los Ilustres Bistro, San Salvador Metropolitan Cathedral, Ex-Cuartel Market, El Calvario Church and the National Library of El Salvador (BINAES).
This activity includes:
- Statue of Francisco Morazan
- Church of the Rosary
- Liberty Plaza
- Hula Hula Market
- Los Ilustres Bistro
On arrival
The meeting point will be at Plaza Francisco Morazán, in front of the National Theater.
Things to note
- Free tours are free of charge. We recommend a contribution at the end of the tour between 10€ - 50€ per person.
- I never cancel reservations, even if there is only one person for the tour.
- I accept bitcoins and credit and debit cards, Visa and MasterCard.
- Remember that the 6:30 p.m. tour visits bars and restaurants. The new National Library and churches are closed, but you can see them lit up from the outside.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
