The Tairona gold museum is located in the historic center, in front of the Simon Bolivar square facing the bay of Santa Marta, it is a white house with a Spanish colonial style.

I will be wearing my tour guide accreditation, and a black backpack.

“Everything was great!”

We had a great tour with Javier, who speaks excellent English and is a very nice and open guy! The tour included loads of historical facts, some ghost stories and legends as well as an introduction to some Colombian culture. We especially appreciated that Javier gave us many recommendations for restaurants, ice cream and street vendors but always made sure we didn't feel pressured to make any purchases. When we did buy something, it was all delicious! 100% recommend.

“Good places for eat and drink ”
