Immerse yourself in the neighborhoods of Santo Domingo city on this walking tour about 5 minutes away from the colonial zone.
During this half-day excursion, follow your local guides born and raised in these areas to view some hidden places. Please stop by our hood sign, visit a typical house, taste local patties and Dominican ice cream (helado de funda), see our local market, visit a typical corner store, and taste our typical coffee. Please get to know the studio where most Dembow hits have been produced, fantastic views of Santo Domingo from above our cable car, and modern metro.
A boat ride is also offered at an additional price, going underneath six of the most important bridges in Santo Domingo. Sightseeing the first church built in America, the tree where Christopher Columbus tied up his ships, and the castle of Christopher Columbus’s son. Three of his generations lived.
