Overview

The walk begins in Baščaršija, visiting the Sebilj Fountain, traditional craft streets, and the Gazi Husrev-beg complex. It continues to Sarajevo City Hall and the Latin Bridge, the site linked to the start of World War I, before entering the Austro-Hungarian part of the city, including the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Sarajevo Rose, and the Meeting of Cultures.
Throughout the tour, history is seamlessly connected with everyday life, helping you understand how Sarajevo’s past continues to shape the city and its people today.
