Strolling through Segorbe, its History and Culture

Duration: 2 hours

Overview of the tour in Segorbe

The city of Segorbe, episcopal and ducal, cradle of art and history, encloses in its urban center the passage of the many cultures that have passed through it throughout the ages.

Towers, medieval portals, walls, churches and hermitages, aqueducts are common neighbors when strolling through the narrow and labyrinthine streets of the old town. People of the three cultures lived there: Muslims, Jews and Christians, each of them leaving their mark.

In addition, the fertile plain that surrounds it, and the strategic position that the city occupies, complement all its historical legacy with another landscape, being surrounded by the natural parks of Espadán and Calderona.

A jewel for the senses.
