Ornithological Free Walking Tour
Overview of the tour in Segovia
The walk focuses on the observation and identification of the neighboring birds of the city of Segovia, crossing the course of the Eresma river from the city to Fuencisla, passing through emblematic places of the city such as the Parral Monastery, the Real Casa de la Moneda, the Alcázar and its gardens or the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Fuencisla. An environment that mixes the urban and the natural ideal for observing certain birds such as blackbirds, sparrows, mallards, herons, starlings, chickadees, kites, vultures, or the emblematic choughs of the city of Segovia among many others.
It is recommended to bring binoculars and clothing suitable for the weather.
