Overview of the tour in Seville

City and cradle of emperors, Italica was the first city founded by the Romans in the Peninsula and one of the most visited archaeological sites and monuments of Andalusia. It was created in 206 BC as a place of settlement for Roman veterans after winning the Second Punic War against the Carthaginians, defeated by the troops of Scipio Africanus.

The circumstances surrounding this provisional city were so good that many of the soldiers decided to stay here, founding Italica. Good times followed until the birth of the Baetian emperors Trajan and Hadrian, who gave the city great splendor. Hadrian expanded the city and created large domus and important public buildings, such as the major baths and the Amphitheater, which, after the latest studies, is known to be the second largest in the Roman Empire, only behind the great Colosseum in Rome.

And for Game of Thrones lovers it has a plus, since it is the place where the Dragon Pit was filmed in the last seasons. Don't let them tell you about it and live the resurgence of the Ancient Rome of Seville!

This activity includes:

  • Colosseum
  • Entrada
