Itálica Archaeological Tour
Overview of the tour in Seville
The Roman city of Italica, located in what is now Santiponce (Seville), was founded, according to traditional historiography, by General Scipio Africanus in the context of the Second Punic War. A primitive settlement that will be consolidated over the centuries and will see the arrival of families as important as those who belonged to the emperors Trajan and Hadrian.
The latter will enlarge the city through the construction of large mansions with their spectacular mosaics, the amphitheater, a temple of worship or the major baths, places that I invite you to walk with me.
