The unique old bridges, well-structured courtyards and calm rivers and shy willows, all make the town a land of antiquity, leisure and tranquility. After lunch, transfer you to visit the Jade Buddha Temple, one of the most famous Buddhist shrines in the city. The two precious jade Buddhist statues are not only rare cultural relics but also porcelain artworks. Both the Sitting Buddha and the Recumbent Buddha are carved with whole white jade.
Then explore the old Cultural Street Tianzifang. Like Xintiandi, Tianzifang is one of a small number of old Shanghai shikumen buildings. The difference is the vivid live atmosphere stimulated from Tianzifang. After that, private transfer will take you back to your hotel.
