Overview of the tour in Shanghai
With a history of 1500 years, Shaolin Kung Fu, originating from the Shaolin Temple in China, is one of the treasures of Chinese martial arts. It is a traditional cultural system that was historically formed in the specific Buddhist cultural environment of the Shaolin Temple in Songshan, with martial arts practiced by Shaolin monks as the main form of expression.
According to the martial arts records passed down in Shaolin Temple, there are 708 sets of Shaolin Kung Fu routines, including 552 sets of free-hand boxing and armed boxing routines, and 156 sets of various techniques such as 72 unique skills, capture, combat, bone displacement, acupoint tapping, and qigong.
Master Shi is the 34th generation disciple of the Shaolin Temple and the founder of the Hollywood Shaolin Cultural Center in the US. Chief Martial Arts instructor at the Shaolin Cultural Center in California and the founder of Shanghai Shaolin Cultural Center.
