Overview of the tour in Side
Our tour starts with a visit to the world-famous ancient Greco-Roman amphitheater of Aspendos, which is one of the best-preserved theaters of antiquity and has a seating capacity of 15,000. It is still in use, and some performances, operas, and bales have taken place in its great acoustics.
Then, continuing with Side was a Roman port, it is now a modern town that’s dotted with ruins. It dates back to the 2nd century A.D., which was a gift from Anthony to Cleopatra as a token of his love for her. It has a large, well-protected ruins area. Amphitheater, The temple of Apollo, Necropolis, old marketplace(Agora). You’ll also have a shopping opportunity at Side's local shops before returning to your hotel.
Manavgat waterfall has white foaming water rushing over the rocks. It is not high, but the curative of water is powerful, next to the waterfall, there is a relaxing shady tea garden that offers a pleasant resting place. Lunch with open buffets will be served at a restaurant near the Manavgat River.
