Bakong & Floagting Tour
Overview of the tour in Siem Reap
-Early departure from Siem Reap to Roluos Group takes about 30 minutes by car. It is a collection of three significant temples: Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei. These three temples were built in the late 9th century for the king's ancestors and Hindu gods.
-After exploring Rolous, head to a local restaurant for a traditional Cambodian meal. Enjoy dishes such as Amok (coconut milk curry), Lok Lak (stir-fried beef), and fresh spring rolls.
-Explore the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, and offer a unique glimpse into a way of life adapted to the lake’s seasonal changes. Houses, schools, and even shops are built on stilts or float on rafts. Embark on a boat tour through the village. Observe the daily activities of the villagers, including fishing, trading, and cooking. During the wet season, you can paddle through the submerged trees, offering a serene and unique experience.
