Overview

We meet at the entrance of the Ristich Palace, 20 meters from the Alexander the Great Monument, in the central square. From there, we visit the Memorial House of Mother Theresa, the Earthquake Museum, the Parliament Building, the City Center Monuments, the Stone Bridge, the Fortress, and the Old Bazaar. We finish the Tour at the same spot where we started.

Central Square. The entrance of the Ristich Palace. On the top of the building, there is a large billboard of SKOPSKO beer. Next door is Bocata Cafe. About 20 meters from the Fountain, with the Monument of Alexander the Great.

“Free walking tour of Skopje ”
Alexander was a great knowledgeable guide. Very friendly. His dog joined us which was fun. He made the tour interesting and gave us free time for a break after a big walk up the hill to the fortress.

“Recommend this tour”
Even though it rained, we had a great time walking around Skopje and listening to Alexander. He explained everything very well and there was enough room to ask questions. I forgot to prepare that, so I would recommend to think of things your are interested in before the tour to not miss out on any opportunity to learn about the capital of Macedonia.

“A unique tour of Skopje ”
Our tour guide in Skopje, North Macedonia, Alexander was exceptional - knowledgeable, informative and truely engaging. He brought a warm, charming demeanor to the tour, with a great sence of humour which perfectly reflected the spirit of the region. Alexander adressed sensitive political issues with lightheartness while maintaining a deep and accurate understanding of the subjects at hand. Unfortunately, we had to leave our tour early, but I would have loved to hear more about Skopje's languages, ethnic groups and rich traditions. It was an afternoon well-spent and I truly appreciate the insights Alexander shared. Thank you Alexander, for such a a memorable experience!

“Skopje tour review”
Amazing experience! Aleksandar made us discover in an engaging and insightful way the stories and secrets of Skopje. I would strongly recommend this tour to everyone wishing to discover deeper the city with a local guide.
