Overview of the tour in St Petersburg

The general tour of the Hermitage includes the state and the private apartments of the Winter Palace and the highlights of West European art collections including Italian art with the works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Michelangelo, Spanish collection with the paintings by Goya, Velasquez and El Greco, very rich Dutch collection including 24 paintings by Rembrandt.

I’ll be waiting for you with a sign “ The Hermitage with Alice” under the arch of the General Staff Building.

Things to note

Museum rules:
No big bags: they have to be left in the museum check room.
No water bottles: they may be confiscated by the museum staff.
Flash is not allowed (it is damaging for the art).
Comfortable shoes!
