Overview
Our first stop is Zhinvali Dam-a hydroelectric dam on the Aragvi River in the Caucasus Mountains. Then we continue the road to Ananuri Castle-a castle complex on the Aragvi River in Georgia, about 45 miles (72 kilometers) from Tbilisi. It was built by the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century. In 2007, the complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage Site program.
Our next stop is Gudauri Ski Resort & Friendship Monument-The ski season in Gudauri lasts from December to April. The Friendship monument which was built in the 80's is pretty worn, but the scenery and views from the balconies are just unbeatable.
Then we will visit Red-Rock Travertine-The rock is covered by yellowish-red minerals, delivered by mineral water to the surface. Hereby is a specially installed tap to take this healthy mineral water for drinking. There is just some kind of places in Georgia like these because the formation takes a long time and its very unique thing by nature. And finally, we will reach Stepanstminda (Kazbegi). Spend a little time there (as much as you would like) and come back to Tbilisi.
