Overview of the tour in Stockholm
THE TOUR INCLUDES:
- Some brief references to Northern Europe's Viking past in an attempt to explain why, for example, Stockholm cannot be called "Viking" in the same way that Rome can be called Roman, and to undermine many of the clichés about Vikings in light of the latest research;
- Many historical anecdotes and some contextualizations related to the medieval history of the city of Stockholm and particularly to 1500-1600;
- Some anecdotes related to contemporary and more recent history of Stockholm and Sweden (outside visit to the Nobel Museum and life of Alfred Nobel);
- Descriptions and explanations of the exterior architecture of churches, squares and the Royal Castle;
- Inside visit to the Great Church and the sculpture of St. Göran;
- Answers to questions and trivia about Sweden, life in Sweden and Swedes;
- Practical advice on where to drink and eat and/or where to buy souvenirs;

The meeting point is the exit of the Gamla Stan metro station at 11 o'clock, in front of the Espresso House. You will recognize me by the little Italian flag.
