Strasbourg Essentials: Petite France & the Historic Center
Overview of the tour in Strasbourg
Hello! My name is Jeanne. I am from Alsace, and I have been living in Strasbourg for a long time, but not as long as the Cathedral, that's for sure.
During the tour, you will visit the wonderful half-timbered houses of Petite France and stroll through the old streets and famous squares, such as Saint Thomas and Gutenberg, until you reach the Cathedral. We will discover the history of Strasbourg from the Middle Ages to the present day, as well as the Alsatian culture, gastronomy, and the city's secrets.
I invite you to come with me and explore the historical center of one of the pearls of Alsace.
This activity includes:
- Ponts Couverts de Strasbourg
- Maison Kammerzell
- Guttenberg square
- St. Thomas Church
- Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg
- Barrage Vauban
On arrival
33, rue des Hallebardes in front of the "clinique des champs-élysées." I'll wear a yellow raincoat if it's raining. I'll have a fan in my hand if not.
Things to note
The tour lasts an hour and a half. I recommend that you wear good shoes and have some water.
