At 09:00, your licensed guide will meet you at the lobby bar to begin the journey to Transnistria, driving to the Transnistrian border. Welcome to the country that does not exist! First of all, we will visit the city of Bender, where you will discover the Tighina Fortress, built in the 15th century by the Prince of Moldova, Stephen the Great. The Tighina Fortress is an architectural complex with an irregular quadrilateral plan, surrounded by wide walls 2-3 meters thick, made of limestone and brick.
After the historical tour, you will have time for lunch at a local Soviet canteen in the town of Bender. Enjoy delicious fresh food. Bender is located on the right side of the Nistru River and since 1992 has been under the government of Tiraspol. Join us on this fascinating adventure!
