Overview

welcome to Asakusa! This district is the heart of the most traditional Tokyo. We will explore the Sensoji temple complex and its picturesque streets, discovering its history.

We will start by the Sumida River, famous for its beauty during hanami. Then, we will cross the first gate of the temple and walk along Nakamise Dori, a street full of souvenirs and delicious traditional snacks.

At Sensoji Temple, we will experience rituals such as omikuji (written fortune) and temizu (purification before prayer). We will learn the correct way to offer prayers and explore the complex's Shinto shrine, with its serene garden and Koi fish.
