Piazza Castello

On arrival

The meeting point for the tour is Piazza Castello, in front of Palazzo Madama.

By Public Transport:
Tram: You can take trams 4, 13, or 15 to Piazza Castello. The tram stop is just a short walk from the meeting point.
Bus: Several buses stop nearby, including 11, 55, and 57. Get off at the Castello stop, and you’ll be right at Piazza Castello.

By Metro:
The nearest metro stop is Porta Nuova. From here, it’s about a 15-minute walk up Via Roma to reach Piazza Castello. You’ll pass through Piazza San Carlo on your way.

By Car:
Parking is available at Piazza Vittorio Veneto or Piazza Carlo Felice, both within walking distance of Piazza Castello. Please note that some areas of the city center may be restricted to vehicles, so it's best to park a little further out and walk in.

Once You Arrive:
Look for the Palazzo Madama, a large historic building in the center of Piazza Castello. I will be waiting in front of the entrance at the stairs of Palazzo Madama.

Comfortable Footwear: As this is a walking tour, please wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on cobblestone streets.

Weather: Please check the weather forecast before the tour. If it's rainy, we may offer an umbrella or suggest rescheduling if conditions are poor. In summer, make sure to bring a bottle of water and wear sunscreen.

Duration: The tour lasts about 2 to 3 hours. We will be walking at a relaxed pace with several stops to explore and discuss the city’s history and culture.
