Úbeda Monumental: Discover its Historical Essences
Overview of the tour in Ubeda
Our tour will start at the Town Hall Square, where we will give you an introduction of the city of Úbeda. We will go to the Plaza Vázquez de Molina, the square for which Úbeda was declared a World Heritage Site in 2003.
There we will be delighted with the monumental ensemble that offers us and we will know the history of Francisco de los Cobos, who was a true patron of the city.
We will visit many palaces, such as the Juan Vázquez de Molina Palace or the Palace of Deán Ortega, today a Parador de turismo. We will visit the Sacred Chapel of the Savior and inside, we will discover its history and the wonderful architecture that makes it so special. After getting to know it, we will go to the Plaza 1º de Mayo, one of the most beautiful squares in the city. There you will find the Church of San Pablo, the only building in Úbeda that gives us a little piece of that Romanesque architecture, so unusual in these Andalusian areas. Our visit will end after visiting the interior of the church.
before we say goodbye, we will not forget to tell you about the most important thing! Gastronomy, with a tasting of the most authentic tapa of Úbeda.
