Úbeda Special Summer Tour

Overview of the tour in Ubeda

Special tour during the summer months to enjoy Úbeda at sunset, avoiding the high temperatures. We will start by visiting the interior of the Palacio Vela de los Cobos (5€/pax), the only inhabited Renaissance palace in the province, which has one of the most important art galleries and private libraries in Andalusia.

Once we leave the Palacio Vela de los Cobos, a little before 8 p.m., we will continue our tour through the medieval streets of the historic center and admire the majestic palaces, convents, and churches, built between the 15th and 16th centuries, when some of the nobles of intense achieved great power in the court.
We will stroll through the Plaza 1º de Mayo, where the souk was located when Úbeda was called Ubbadat, and we will admire the old Town Hall (16th century) and the Church of San Pablo (13th-17th century).

We will visit the Plaza Vázquez de Molina, the main Renaissance area of the city, and there we will be able to contemplate the Sacra Capilla del Salvador (outside), a unique building in the Spanish Renaissance, where the remains of Francisco de los Cobos y Molina, Secretary and Advisor of Charles I rest.

We will conclude the visit in Town Hall Square.

Our meeting point, SEMER Turismo y Cultura, is a two-minute walk from the free public parking lot in Plaza de Santa Clara in Úbeda.
