Free Tour Valencia Street Art
Overview of the tour in Valencia
Join us on the free tour of Street art and discover El Carmen, a neighborhood so modern that it’s sometimes difficult to define.
Its history dates back to the 13th century when Valencia was conquered. El Carmen, with its inspiring corners and labyrinthine streets inherited from Islamic urban planning, is a vast district turned into an urban museum. At night, it’s also a great spot to enjoy the city’s nightlife.
We’ll discover the most popular muralists and graffiti artists (local, national, and international) who have left their mark on the walls of this district, offering us their ephemeral works.
How did graffiti come about? What is a tag? We’ll learn to identify the different techniques: spray, paint, stickers, stencils, and paste-ups.
Urban art will be our inseparable companion, present on every street we pass, surprising us with its vibrant colors, challenging us to reflect on its message, interacting with us, and creating a totally unexpected creative dialogue.
After a two-and-a-half-hour tour of this open-air museum, we’ll conclude the free graffiti tour near Carmen Square.
